I was amazed when I put this to the test, as the chicken was indeed perfectly cooked, and the skin was divine even with using very little oil. Thankfully, the technology behind the air fryer means that oil is almost completely unnecessary and so is also a healthier option for cooking.

Having tested out the air fryer for a few weeks now I’m thoroughly impressed by the quality of speed with which it cooks food. The aero crisper basket is great for getting that all-round crisp, and the rotating skewers function allows you to make little meat and vegetable skewers which were cooked perfectly in such a short amount of time. I was particularly interested in the bake mode, something I don’t think many people would have expected to see on an Air fryer model. I whipped up a quick cake batter and popped it into the air fryer. I was amazed that on the bake setting it produced a perfectly risen and still moist cake. This is a game changer for the festive season as often we’re juggling between getting savoury snacks and meals ready in the oven, so you can easily pop something sweet in the air fryer and it will quickly and successfully bake your delicious, sweet treats ready for a big family gathering. A key factor in this is the temperature control of the air fryer, which has an accurate range from 80-200° and a 90-minute timer.
