The Zero Chill from Jam has a unique design to make it stand out from the crowd at the party. It is available in Grey, Blue, Blue Camo, Cream Soda and Black with an unusual sloping top, fabric carry loop and large “X” “-“, and “O” buttons. It has a powerful range when connected via Bluetooth of up to 30m which means you can take photos from a distance of your mates dancing around like fools without interrupting the music at any point. The Zero Chill can handle any party be it a midnight rave on the beach or an impromptu pool party thanks to the IP67 rating, which not only makes it dirt-proof but also means it can be fully submerged in water up to one meter for 30 minutes.

The Zero Chill is a chunky chap but nicely compact at H7.39 x W7.39 x D16.78cm, but it is rather heavy at 680g, it wouldn’t be your go-to choice for lightweight travelling. It has an excellent battery that will provide you with up to 22hours off one full charge and can be controlled by its multifunctional button, to say these lack intuition is an understatement but thankfully it comes with a sticker to help you work out how many times to press what, just be prepared for any friends who want to take over as DJ to ask for tuition. One thing we did love was how the charging port and cable are all tucked about in the bottom of the speaker (with a handy cable spool to keep everything nice and neat) accessing this area isn’t easy as the silicone plug it pretty tough to pull out, it needs to be this way however to ensure a water tight seal, its just a bit of a pain. The sound is obviously the most important element of every speaker and we are pleased to report it provides an even layered sound, that allows you to enjoy a whole genre of tunes, however bass heads might find it lacks a bit of punch for their liking. The Jam Zero is a good choice for parties at home, glamping adventures or day trips, its 360degree powerful sound, long battery life and protective body will allow you to party as hard and as long as your middle age cardio system allows.
