The Selfkaire Kairetool is a deep tissue massager which claims to have a unique twist. You can use this handy device to knead tight muscles and resolve aches and pains, including stubborn issues such as lockjaw. As a massager, it’s brilliant. However, this isn’t all the Kairetool offers: this tool claims to firm up and slim down the massaged areas of your body, and there seems to be reems of users who agree!
Before and after images from others who’ve used the product look subtle, but this is a more believable improvement than if the images were drastic. Rather than losing pounds and pounds, this device seems to tighten and tone up what already exists. You won’t see dramatic weight loss, but you might see a firming up of your jaw line or upper arms and thighs – especially after a couple of months of daily use.
We feel as though we’ve seen a difference using the Kairetool, but it’s hard to understand exactly how it achieves the results it advertises. The company information explains that it is all achieved through the natural heat created by the friction of a targeted deep tissue massage, but it’s hard to tell what sets this product apart from other massage tools, in that case. There’s plenty of detail on the impact this heat and pressure has on body tissue, including reduced water retention and a release of toxins (the latter of which occurs in any massage), but not on what makes the result specific to this tool and not others like it.
That said, a change does seem to occur! Whether it’s exclusive to this tool, or whether others like it could achieve the same results, or whether it’s just the power of suggestion, targeted areas do seem to slim down and firm up. Plus, the design itself is aesthetic and comfortable to hold.
The body of the Selfkaire Kairetool is made from surgical grade stainless steel, making it extremely hard-wearing and easily cleanable whilst also having a nice weight to it. Being small, the Kairetool can be taken anywhere with you, which is excellent for athletes or anyone else with an on-the-go lifestyle. The design is cute, too, and if you feel like spoiling yourself, there are some gorgeous if pricey upgrades with rose quartz or jade handle decoration.
Deep tissue massaging is usually done with your hand, but this can be quite hard work and may even cause more unwanted issues; the Kairetool eliminates this problem, and whether or not its other claims are exclusive to this product, it’s definitely a good massager and definitely seems to firm up the targeted area. As with all health and beauty products, we recommend you speak with your doctor before trying this tool. The company warns that you shouldn’t use it if you have metal allergies, electronic implanted devices, epilepsy/seizures, cancer, are pregnant or are under the age of 18.
