Perfection is something that we all strive for. Even when we do very well at something, there can always be room for improvement. Peak Design did a great job with their original Field Pouch. However, it seems as if they weren’t completely satisfied with their first go, and therefore created another one – the Field Pouch V2!

It’s not like the original Field Pouch was poorly received though. It gained rave reviews across the board and is still an incredibly popular item in the Peak Design roster. But as we said, Peak Design are clearly aiming for, well, the peak!

The new Field Pouch V2 comes in a variety of colours: charcoal, midnight, and black. We received the midnight pouch which is a lovely dark navy with a tan trim. On first sight it is a very stylish and aesthetically pleasing bag. The Field Pouch is completely waterproof and is made from 400D nylon canvas, an incredibly strong material, and as well as being waterproof it is more or less tearproof and guarantees long lasting quality. We are also very happy to confirm that the Field Pouch V2 is completely made from recycled plastics and is also bluesign certified. For those who don’t know what this means, bluesign certification means that harmful substances have been totally eliminated from the supply chain. Peak Design is a Climate Neutral Certified brand. Throughout the entire supply chain the company is measuring its carbon footprint and offsetting or reducing carbon emissions where possible so at the point of purchase consumers are shopping 100% carbon neutral products. The consumer facing certification label, is a trusted and third-party verified source that allows brands and consumers to actualize climate action. Any environmentalists out there can put themselves at ease, good work Peak Design!

If you are an avid traveller and photographer, then the Field Pouch could come in handy. It is the perfect satchel to put all your excess tech gear in, whether this be cords, accessories, batteries, and hard drives. There are also five elasticated slots that would be perfect for SD cards or other cartridges. You won’t be able to fit a large camera in it, but if you take additional photos on a smaller film/digital camera, or have a mini polaroid, then there would be plenty of space for this in the Field Pouch. The Field Pouch can be worn a couple of ways. There are loops on the back of the pouch so that you could attach it to your belt, alternatively, a removable strap is included inside the bag so that you can wear it over your shoulder. Either way, you will have an easily accessible Field Pouch on the go. This is exactly what the Field Pouch aims to be.

Clearly Peak Design are on top form with the Field Pouch V2. If you require something to neatly keep all your accessories in whilst you’re on the go, look no further.
