The XT16 is a shoe-mounted, wireless, power-control flash trigger transmitter that provides remote triggering and up to eight stops of wireless power control for flashes equipped with the XTR16 receiver.
Featuring a 2.4 GHz radio connection with a range of up to 328', along with the option of 16 individual channels to play with, you can sync at speeds of up to 1/250 second, with multiple power settings to tweak when working with speedlights or studio flashes. Powered from two AA batteries, it is super light and compact at just 60g (without batteries) and 97.6 x 49.9 x 37 mm. The channels are identified by numbers 0-9 and letters A-F - some of the buttons are teeny tiny, so you may need to grow your nails a little bit if you have sausage fingers.
Again, it is another low-cost product from Godox and as such it has a lower build quality, but it still works as it should. New on the scene, the P90L Soft Box has a deep parabolic design that works like a massive reflector and can be used to add light and play with different light effects. The light it produces is saturating and soft with an even consistency. It is also wind, crush and fall resistant.
Featuring 16 lightweight premium fiberglass rods, it takes a little time to put it all together, but it is easy enough and portable when packed down - it even comes with its own carrying bag and weighs just 1.5kg in total. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor shoots, features a Bowens mount, and has a 90cm diameter and is 69.4cm deep. The kit includes 16 rods, outer diffuser, inner diffuser, reflective liner, softbox adapter ring, carrying bag and Andoer cleaning cloth. This is one of the pricier items from Godox but it still won’t break the bank. It is easy to use, versatile as well as conveniently portable and produces a flattering soft light. RRP £37.00
