The TRI400 Compression Sleeveless Suit from Skins allows you to swim, cycle and sprint your way through a triathlon. The strategically placed ‘Toray fabric’ aims to minimise drag in the water and the carbon-infused fabric helps prevent friction on the inner thigh when running. This all-in-one suit uses ‘Dynamic Gradient Compression’ - the compression increases support to the areas of the body you are working with, drives more oxygen to your muscles and reduces the build-up of blood lactate for better performance and a quicker recovery time. The ‘400 Fit’ feature means that 3D body scan data and 400 key fitting points have been used when designing the suit, reducing pressure points and friction, allowing flexible movement where you need it the most.
Available in either ‘White/Black’ or ‘Yellow/Black’, the TRI400 uses an ultra-lightweight chamois design that has been chosen specifically for triathletes, with a high-density foam around the bum for maximum comfort. The textured surface helps the skin to breath and transfer moisture, whilst the non-absorbent foam delivers a comfortable transfer from swim to bike. The moisture wicking fabric draws sweat away from the body, as well as helping the suit to dry quickly after the swim and preventing the body from losing too much body heat. The TRI400 also offers 50+ UV Protection, has a Memory MX spinal panel for maximum lateral movement without restriction whilst also maintaining its shape and compression. There is a lined, semi-lock zip with zip guard, bonded hems and two storage pockets with a bonded flap to eliminate drag during the swim.
We found the TRI400 very comfortable and light on the skin: it hugs in all the right places without feeling restrictive and dries quickly. It moves seamlessly between swimming, cycling and running and most important of all, more so than winning, it looks awesome on: very flattering for all body shapes. RRP £80
