Therefore, I was super excited to try out some of BAM’s Mallea Yoga Leggings from their new Spring and Summer 2024 collection.

The leggings I tried came in a funky Spring Rain print which has greens, oranges, yellows, and browns mixed in an abstract rain-inspired pattern. The leggings were in the 7/8th length which sat just above my ankle with a 60cm inseam. However, should the pattern or length not be for you, BAM offers a whole range of lovely colours from a standard black to some extra funky pattern options and even a full-length version with a 70cm inseam. Therefore, with BAM you are sure to find a pair of leggings to suit your style and length preferences.

Straight out of the parcel, I was impressed with just how lovely and buttery soft the material was with a supportive yet stretchy waistband. After putting them on I was thrilled with how supported I felt without feeling restricted at all. According to BAM, the fabric was carefully designed by yoga experts to be breathable, soft, and stretchy, while offering all the support needed for each yoga movement without chafing or digging in. I tested out the leggings for a yoga class and was very impressed. I was able to freely move through each pose whilst feeling super comfortable and confident. Plus the fun pattern was a big hit with my fellow yoga friends, adding a fun pop of colour to an otherwise dreary spring day.

My only slight complaint with the Mallea Yoga Leggings is that they are not currently available in extended sizes. I love the feel and sustainable aspects of the leggings, but I wish they were available in a larger size range so every body type could buy them. I really do hope BAM is looking to expand its size range in the future to make its high-quality and sustainably made leggings more widely accessible.

Ultimately, if you are on the hunt for a new pair of leggings that are made with sustainability in mind, whilst delivering exceptional performance in the yoga studio, then the Mallea Yoga Leggings are a great choice for you. I personally loved the feel of the leggings, and with the great sustainability factors behind them, they make a perfect gift for yourself or a loved one who is looking for a great pair of leggings that deliver comfort, style, and support for whatever exercise you throw at them.
