The Everyday Case by Peak Design has many claims to fame, with The Wirecutter (New York Times’ product review department) naming it as one of the best MagSafe cases on the market. Therefore, I was super excited to put these claims to the test myself when Peak Design sent us over a case to review.

We got to test out the Everyday Case in a charcoal colourway, and it was very minimalist in design and remarkably thin. I quickly popped the case on my iPhone and it looked great. The case is designed to be super slim at only a 2.4mmin in profile, however, it packs a punch in terms of protection and functionality. The edges feature a rubberized bumper which holds the nylon canvas shell. Aesthetically the case is great, especially if you like a minimalist and sleek-looking phone.

However, one of the main perks of the Everyday Case is its magnetic lock which is built in through SlimLink™. This allows the case to instantly connect to all Peak Design mobile mounts, chargers, and accessories thanks to the built-in magnetic connection. The case is also compatible with a range of other Apple MagSafe chargers and accessories. I liked that the case fits seamlessly into the Peak Design ecosystem, so you know that no matter what accessory you choose from Peak Design’s range it will be compatible with the case. I got to see this with the Stand Wallet which clipped straight onto the back of the case via its magnetic connection without any fuss.

Therefore, do I think the Everyday Case lives up to the hype? Yes, I do. The case looks great, has great protection and has been made extra functional with the SlimLink™ connection. If you are on the hunt for a new case which is designed to last and will work seamlessly with a range of accessories and chargers, then the Everyday Case by Peak Design is an easy choice. Cons:

• The Everyday Case does come in Sun (yellow), Redwood (red), Sage (green) and Midnight (blue) – However, I’d personally like some more fun and funky colourway options to suit my more chaotic maximalist style!
