NightSearcher is a UK LED lighting manufacturer that specialises in portable lighting. Floodlights, work lights, searchlights, flashlights and inspection lamps – this company produces lights that could be, and are, used by the emergency services, armed forces, construction companies and more. Professional, industrial-level, and ready for anything, including lighting underground works, these lights won’t let you down. They’re extremely powerful, extremely resilient, and extremely well made.
The BeatLite series are new additions to NightSearcher’s range of work lights. These rechargeable LED lights come with Bluetooth connectivity and inbuilt speakers, which allow you both to hear calls from your team and listen to music whilst you work. This feature is a fun and useful addition to NightSearcher’s range, and this added Bluetooth aspect hasn’t detracted from the quality of these products’ light output.
BeatLite 500
This compact work light provides 500 lumens of light – that's bright! - and can be switched between a wide or narrow beam. It also has a Dimmable mode to save energy, if you don’t need that full 500 lumens kick. The beam can reach to 50 metres, and using its Li-ion lithium battery, the torch can give out light (and music) for ten hours on a single charge.
The Bluetooth connects easily to phones, tablets and MP3 players, and with integrated 5W speakers, it gives you a decent audio quality. These aren’t speakers for music nerds, but they do the job whilst you do yours. The light is also impact resistant up to one metre, which is extremely useful whilst you're hard at work, and with a hook and an adjustable magnetic stand, you have options in how best to secure it as you do.
This is a handy light with a fun and useful twist, from a company that knows what it’s doing. If you want a light that’s up to the task whatever and wherever that task may be, NightSearcher are a company to trust, and this is a compact and nifty little tool to add to your arsenal.

500 lumen output
Good battery life
Speakers & Bluetooth connection

BeatLite 2000X
This X-shaped light can be hung or stood, and as the name suggests, it puts out a powerful 2000 Lumens of light. Like the 500, this light reaches to a 50-metre beam, and can run up to ten hours. However, unlike the 500, this light has five different light modes: 100%, 80%, 60% , 40%, and 20%. 2000 lumens is an extremely powerful beam, and you won’t always need light that bright, so these settings allow you to save energy (and your eyes!), and thus makes this light far more versatile and suited to a wider range of operations.
The 2000X’s audio output is more powerful, too, with two integrated 20w speakers. All in all, this is the beefier version of the 500. Like its smaller brother, it is impact resistant up to one metre, syncs easily to Bluetooth, and is both a fun and useful addition to your worksite.
Pros:
2000 lumen output
Good battery life
Speakers & Bluetooth connection
Five light settings
Impact resistant up to one metre
Hardy
Strong audio output
GALAXY STAR RECHARGEABLE LED WORK LIGHT
Another in the rechargeable LED range from NightSearcher, the Galaxy Star has been built to be extremely durable, and extremely illuminating. Robust and portable, this light has been made from industrial strength aircraft-grade aluminum, has heavy-duty protection around its edges, and like many of NightSearcher’s products, is impact-resistant to one metre. It doesn’t feature the speakers of the BeatLite 2000X, but it does kick out even more light, at a whopping 2800 lumens and a 90-metre beam range. Like the 2000X, this intense beam can thankfully be reduced over five brightness settings.
At only 700g, the Galaxy Star is light to transport, and yet powerful to have on site. You don’t get the extra bells and whistles of the 2000X, but what you do get is a hardy, reliable piece of kit that’s going to survive its trip to your worksite and can light up whatever and wherever you need.
Pros:
2800 lumen output
Five light settings
90-metre beam
Good battery life
Impact resistant up to one metre
Hardy
Lightweight
