When winter comes around, it soon becomes tough to rise and shine – because there is no shine! The long dark mornings make waking up early and getting ready for the day an arduous task. But fear not, the Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock with Radio from Groov-e can help you. Groov-e has crafted a sleek and modern looking alarm clock that looks designer. It has a digital interface that is easily navigated with touch control. Fundamentally, it tells the time and it wakes you up, whilst coming with traditional digital alarm clock features such as an FM radio.

However, the Light Curve Alarm Clock isn’t any ordinary alarm clock. The main feature here is the simulation sunrise and sunset. At 6am on a dark morning in November, I don’t have to get up and turn my light on so that I wake up easier – I can simply lie in bed and wake up naturally like it’s midsummer! The lighting seems realistic and is powered by LEDs. The light feature on the alarm clock isn’t just suitable for waking up and falling asleep, it can also act as mood lighting, to get the feeling right for those more relaxed periods in your room. It changes colour too, so you have a lot of options to choose from.

Overall, I found the Light Curve Alarm Clock very easy to use. Simply plug into the mains and you’re up and running. It does what it says on the box and the interface is very easy to use. The only improvement could be a DAB radio. Other than that, it’s the perfect thing to wake up to!
