The Zepp Golf 2 is the next generation of the Zepp Golf. Its new features include the Smart Coach training system, which measures your full swings on the course and allows you to compare swing metrics and consistency from round to round and from range to course. All you need to do is take a few swings, and the Zepp 2 will instantly collect data that can be used to assess the areas in which you could improve, and will even offer training programs that are tailor-made to help you advance your technique.

The Zepp 2 device is easy to use and doesn’t interfere with your gameplay; simply attach the sensor to the back of your glove and it will gather all the information it needs while you are on the course. It features four functions: the 3D Swing Analysis measures important aspects of your swing, including club speed, club plane, tempo, backswing length and more; the Instant Evaluation function does as its name says by providing you with instant analysis and evaluations; the Smart Coach offers personalised video training programs from PGA players and tour instructors to inspire you to become a better player faster, and the Course Mode will measure the consistency of your swing during a round.

The Zepp 2 is easy to set up and pair with your phone. There is no need to run the app alongside the Zepp 2, as they can be synced after your game. Syncing was a bit hit and miss, like many devices of this nature. However, all in all the ZEPP Golf 2 is an ideal training aid for any golfer whether they are just starting out or are a seasoned pro wanting to lower their score on the course. It’s a cheaper way to improve your swing than shelling out on a coach. RRP £129 and $149
