First off, I will be basing my entire knowledge of MMA on my HIIT instructor: he puts us through the class like he actually hates us, so I can only assume it attracts tough nuts and lunatics. The Cage Shorts from Under Armour have been created specifically with MMA in mind and have tried to create a tough, light and stretchy fit to let you freely move around.

I remember, when I was a kid, I had three pairs of shoes: wellingtons, school shoes and little trainers to run around in. Now I’m all grown up, I seem to have shoes for every occasion and that includes just two pairs of heels (much to the despair of some of my girlfriends). Sports bras come in all shapes and sizes and finding the right one for the right exercise can be a real challenge, the UA (Under Amour) Vanish Mid Sports Bra has been created to provide support for medium impact activities like cycling, weight training and boxing. Available in a range of attractive colours, Black, Black with branding, Blue, Pink, Grey and my personal favourite Green, which is a two-toned design with a teal base and aqua detailing.

There have been a couple of occasions where I have believed the hype and bought a high intensity sports bra only to find myself bouncing around during a tennis match or on one memorable occasion, bursting out of it during a cardio class. Fresh out the factory the new Cloudace couldn’t have landed on my desk at a better time. With my old trainers slowing falling apart with every step, not to mention the distinct swampy smell after a recent mud run, it is time for an upgrade. 95% of my runs are road runs so I naturally look for a trainer with cushioning to help reduce the risk of impact related injuries and for a more comfortable, springy run.

The HOVR Phantom from Under Armour are available in both Connect and Non-Connect editions depending on whether it has been fitted with a Record Sensor that allows you to pair it up to your phone, we will be looking at the Non-Connect Edition in this review. The HOVR has been created to provide a zero gravity feel and a consistent energy return to reduce issues and injuries caused by impact, it features a compression mesh Energy Web that contains and moulds the HOVR foam to return the energy back to you with every step.

On are well known for their uniquely designed running shoes, so you may be a little apprehensive as to what crazy creations they may come up with for their running apparel. But, rest assured, there are no strange or unusual additions.

The Cloud from On running immediately stands out from all the other shoes on the rack with their unique sole, but don’t let your eyes deceive you! Although it carries the trademark individual bouncy “clouds” this is in fact a new sole called CloudTec. These shoes have been created to perform all day, every day as an all-round, lightweight shoe.

The Comfort-T comes in a large range of colourful designs: the men’s range is available in Grey, Forest, Midnight, Navy, Black and White, in sizes S-XXL, and the women’s are available in Navy, Mint, Grey, Rose, White, Black, Coral and Haze in sizes XS-XL.
