The CC200 Headset is designed to make calls for both work and school a breeze providing a single-ear headphone and microphone attachment to allow you to hear and be heard better in meetings or classes. I was immediately impressed with just how lightweight and comfortable the headset felt. The ear pad provides just enough cushioning to not put too much pressure on the ear, whilst the stainless-steel headband can be fully adjusted to suit your head size.

Next to the single-ear headphone is the microphone boom arm which can be rotated 240° so you can wear the headset both on the left or right depending on your preference or office setup. I typically sit with my right side to the wall, so placed the headset on this side so I could still hear what was going on in the office with the other ear. This is one of the big perks of the headset, as you can still hear everything you need for calls, whilst allowing you to remain aware of your surroundings.

In terms of sound quality, the headphone contains a 30mm composite diaphragm driver to provide good sound quality for music and clear voices for calls. When used for calls, I did find that in a busy office it can be a little harder to hear as you only have one headphone on, so you can’t block out background noise as much as full headphones. However, generally, calls were pretty clear and a large part of this is due to the inbuilt dual DNN and microphone noise reduction technology.  

After the initial charge, which usefully uses a USB-C cable, the headset holds an impressive 64 hours of battery for music play and up to 29 hours for calls. After the initial charge, I used the headset for a full week of work going between just listening to music and answering calls and the headset didn’t run out of charge once.
