I will kick this review off by saying that this is the most quality built rotating laser I have ever reviewed. Considering how delicate the components are inside, Hilti have protected this unit to the best of their ability. The drop-resistant housing of the Hilti PR 300-HV2S Dual Grade rotating laser has four shock absorbing handles allowing it to survive drops from up to 1.5 metres, which after much deliberating, I did test and glad to say the device is still in one piece.
Nailed-on to be one of the safest gas-actuated nail guns I have used, may I introduce you to the Hilti GX 90-WF fastening tool for wood framing applications. The GX 90-WF has been fitted with a jagged tool nose with a safety sleeve that significantly reduces the risk of free flying fasteners and a visit to A&E. The GX 90-WF offers a nail roughly every three seconds which isn’t as quick as other nail guns I have reviewed but each gas canister can deliver over 1000 fixings with each magazine holding up to 75 nails.
