Dakine Urbn Mission 23L Backpack

The Urbn Mission backpack is so cool it doesn’t even use A’s, screw that vowel it is so 2018! It comes in a wide range of colours and materials, choose from Orange (for high visibility), Squall, Rincon, Woodrose, Night Sky, Ashcroft Camo (for blending into your surroundings), Garnet Shadow and R2R Olive. There aren’t many bags that can say they are skateboard friendly but the Urbn wants to let you roll to your destination and we are always a fan of anything that helps you keep more active.

Dainese AWA PM2 Polartec Trousers

Some people may consider the idea of strapping yourself to a dinner tray and throwing yourself down a mountain as a rather peculiar hobby, however for many people (myself included) snowboarding is the most fun you can have in the cold and everyone knows it’s cooler than skiing (shots fired!!) Part of the snowboarding culture is looking sharp on the slopes, your outfit either needs to be sleek and stylish or bold and loud, but whatever you decide to go for it is essential your gear can withstand the harsh conditions on and off the piste.

Bosch BCS122GB Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner

We can all agree that vacuuming is up there with washing up and ironing in the list of things we would rather not be doing, however any chore can be vastly improved with the right tools, the Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner from Bosch gives you the possibility of continuous runtime due to the exchangeable battery pack and quick charger. The battery (interchangeable with all Bosch Home and Garden Cordless Systems) provides you with 18v of power and it comes with a range of accessories to allow you to tackle all types of areas including your stairs, ceiling and c

Blackburn Wayside Backpack and Pannier

Bikes are great; they are better for the environment, a good source of exercise as well as easier and cheaper to find a place to park than a car, the downside is they do not come with a boot to store all your shopping in. The Wayside Backpack and Pannier from Blackburn has been designed to be suitable for carrying your gear both on and off the bike. It isn’t the lightest of things, at 929g when empty, but chances are you aren’t going to be racing in the Tour de France with all your shopping in tow.

Bescent Sensorwake Trio

We have played with alarms that wake you up with using sound, light and even vibrations but we have never come across something that wakes you up using your sense of smell (here’s me waiting for an alarm clock that wakes you by putting breakfast in your mouth). The Sensorwake Trio from Bescent uses smell, light and sound (a trio of senses) to wake you up in the morning. The box came with the Sensorwake 2 alarm clock, some capsules to get you started and a mains cable and plug.

Beeline Moto

The Beeline Moto is a smart navigation device for motorcycles with a compact and clear display, freeing you from the choice of either a bulky and expensive traditional sat nav or risking attaching your fragile mobile to the outside of the bike. The idea of jumping on a motorbike and heading into the sunset is seen as romantic but getting lost is really just a big pain in the butt, especially when you are on a tight schedule.

Avantree Audition Pro Bluetooth Headset

The Audition Pro headphones from Avantree are low cost headphones with high cost visuals; this stylish headset comes with beautiful minimalist design, the earpads are lovely and soft and can be adjusted for a personalised and comfortable fit. It was the ear cups however that proved to be a bit of an issue, for some reason, no matter how the headset was adjusted the bottom of both the cups didn’t sit flush to the skin, this was the case for both me, with a small head and slightly sticky out ears (sorry folks, I’m already married) and a colleague with a larg

Ariete Espresso Machine

When someone pops round for coffee I don’t just ask if they want milk or sugar; with a collection of gadgets I can do espresso (manually), French press, instant, pod-style lattes and even serve you hot milk on the side. What I am still unable to do is create a decent cappuccino, so I was more than willing to put the Ariete Vintage Espresso Machine through its paces. At just over £100 it isn’t the cheapest machine out there, but it certainly sits in the lower range of the market.
