Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0

We have recently moved from a house with a “garden” that consisted solely of gravel, concrete and the neighbours’ cat’s poop to a proper garden that is made up of a front and back lawn and what I can only assume to be poop from a pterodactyl that lives in the tree above our patio. Having never used a lawnmower before (and that gory scene from the Happening fresh in my mind) I was a little apprehensive about both assembling and using the new Gtech Cordless Lawnmower 2.0.

Bosch BCS122GB Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner

We can all agree that vacuuming is up there with washing up and ironing in the list of things we would rather not be doing, however any chore can be vastly improved with the right tools, the Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner from Bosch gives you the possibility of continuous runtime due to the exchangeable battery pack and quick charger. The battery (interchangeable with all Bosch Home and Garden Cordless Systems) provides you with 18v of power and it comes with a range of accessories to allow you to tackle all types of areas including your stairs, ceiling and c

Ariete Espresso Machine

When someone pops round for coffee I don’t just ask if they want milk or sugar; with a collection of gadgets I can do espresso (manually), French press, instant, pod-style lattes and even serve you hot milk on the side. What I am still unable to do is create a decent cappuccino, so I was more than willing to put the Ariete Vintage Espresso Machine through its paces. At just over £100 it isn’t the cheapest machine out there, but it certainly sits in the lower range of the market.

ROIDMI X20

There is this wonderful moment in one of the Harry Potter books when Professor Dumbledore cleans up an entire room with the wave of a wand, I could enjoy cleaning more if you could do everything in one clean swoop. I’m not saying the ROIDMI X20 is magic or can fix broken ornaments and remove dragon blood from your walls, but it can vacuum and mop up your floor in one go, leaving you more time to watch movies about wizards.

Mira Advance Shower (8.7kW)

If you feel you have a handle on life there’s nothing like trying to use someone else’s shower to remind you that you are basically a monkey whacking a coconut against the floor trying to get in. Some showers have so many dials, knobs and buttons it looks more like a cockpit of a plane instead of something to wash the filth off. The Mira Advance Shower has been designed in such a simple, intuitive way that anyone can use it first time…even with a hangover.

Cuisinart Precision Stand Mixer

Recently we moved to a beautiful house in the countryside and with this move we wanted to embrace a slightly more grown up, homely lifestyle, so when I invited my friends over I decided to provide some homemade cookies and banish my long-standing reputation of being a hopeless baker. I had total faith in my new Cuisinart Precision Stand Mixer and even found a recipe in the booklet provided: white chocolate and cranberry cookies. I decided if I followed it word for word, I couldn’t go wrong.

Soda Stream Spirit (Previously Fizzi)

Thanks to the amazing David Attenborough and the creators of Blue Planet 2, our society seems to have really begun to take note of the issue of plastic waste in our environment, there are small changes we can all make every day to reduce our personal waste without abstaining from our favourite things. The Spirit is the latest addition to the SodaStream range of soda makers, which provides you with the power to turn tap water into sparking drinks in seconds, allowing you to add flavours in your own home and enjoy fizzy drinks without having to purchase pre-
