Polar Loop Crystal

The Polar Crystal Loop is an activity tracker that is also trying to be an elegant piece of jewellery. In my humble option it looks tacky, its silicone wristband has been adorned with delicate Swarovski crystals which clash with the thick strap, it looks tacky and half hearted, aesthetics aside this doesn’t have as much to offer as the A360. You need the Polar H7 heart rate monitor to use the Energy Training, Training Benefit and Heart Rate During Training features but you do get the sleep tracking feature.

Polar A360

Starting off with the A360 this is a wrist-based heart rate monitor that keeps you in the right heart rate zone whether you are circuit training, cycling, jogging or even walking, as well as the heart monitor the A360 also tracks your steps, calories, training and sleep patterns and the Activity Guides give you feedback. You can link the A360 to your phone so it will vibrate on your wrist when you get a message or phone call or to remind you of an important date in your calendar.

Mooer Firefly M6 Flight Case

Mooer specialise in creating small but mighty effects pedals for your guitar and it only makes sense that they would also produce a strong case to protect them whilst on the road, enter the Firefly M6. The Firefly M6 is Mooer’s second generation flight case, although they have reduced the size by 30% to 6.7 x 21.5 x 3.9 inches they have increased the capacity to 6 mini pedals, accommodating the Mooer newly released wah pedal ‘The Wahter’ as well as the Micro Series Pedals.

Lowa San Francisco GTX Travel Shoes

As soon as I unboxed the San Francisco’s I was charmed by the design. The upper is made from Nubuck, a full-grain leather that has been sanded lightly for texture giving it a velvety appearance, minimal seams create a streamline appearance and the open sole construction gives them a stylish unique look. We received the brown with orange soles and laces in the men’s and brown with pink soles and laces for the women’s (also available in green and yellow in men’s and grey and mint for women).

Fitbit Blaze

My first impression of the Blaze was how smooth the packaging was, reminiscent of the newest smart phone it would make a nice gift, however packaging aside the Blaze itself looks equally impressive. The wrist strap feels strong but flexible and the surgical-grade stainless steel buckle and frame give it a stylish look and feel without making it heavy or bulky.

Doro 8030 Mobile Phone

My mum is a prime example for someone in their senior years who just refuses to get a smartphone because she is worried she won’t be able to use it properly. However she will happily ask me to take a photo, use IMDb, the Weather app, Shazam and even the TV remote app on my phone and every time I suggest she should get her own she starts rolling her eyes and says, “yeah right”.
