Gaems Vanguard G190

Gaems has filled a gap in the market here and created a portable personal gaming environment or basically a secure house for your console with an inbuilt screen to allow you to play anywhere as long as there is a plug socket to hand although it is possible to run it in a car with the appropriate adaptor. It is compatible with HDMI however anything with only a component cable will not be able to run with this device, it has two inputs for headphones, headsets or speakers.

Ball Coach Radar

If you are serious about your golf, tennis or cricket you may have used a Doppler gun at some point to measure the speed of your ball. The Ball Coach Radar is a discrete piece of equipment that automatically give you the fastest speed for the ball in a very simple to use way.

Valkee Human Charger

We have had some very unusual things arrive in the office at GadgetHead but this is one of my favourites. In 2007 a couple Finnish guys began on working on ways to deal with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) which is a big problem in Finland in the winter months as some parts of the country can receive as little as 4hours of sunlight a day.

Silver Cross Simplicity Car Seat

The prospect of fitting a car seat can be a task that strikes fear into new parent’s hearts but with a Simplicity Car Seat, as the name would suggest, it’s simple. Silver Cross have designed this car seat to be used with the ISOFIX Simplifix base (RRP £120) as well as being compatible with all the combination prams (the Pioneer included) however it can also be safely attached with the seatbelt, with bright blue guides to show you where it needs to go.

phil&teds Smart Lux

Being a fairly young company phil&teds (not to be confused with Bill and Ted) have managed to achieve a lot in a short space of time, they pride themselves on being slightly wacky inventors who put the parent first when it comes to their products. So having said that we were pretty excited about getting our hands on their Smart Lux Pushchair to see what it had to offer, a sound proof hood perhaps or nappy changing robots? Sadly not but what we were supplied with didn’t disappoint.
