The BH51M is a cycle helmet with many innovative features including indicators, Bluetooth, speakers, handsfree phone calling, GPS and an SOS alarm. I was quite concerned that with all the technical aspects the rider may look reminiscent of a Martian, however upon opening the package I was pleased to see otherwise, instead this helmet looks very similar to many other cycle helmets and doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb.

The Audition Pro headphones from Avantree are low cost headphones with high cost visuals; this stylish headset comes with beautiful minimalist design, the earpads are lovely and soft and can be adjusted for a personalised and comfortable fit. The BoomCube from KitSound (KS) is a compact little Bluetooth speaker that comes in three designs: black, grey and rose gold. Measuring up at 7 x 7 x 7cm, it is super portable and looks cute at the same time.

The KitSound BoomBar 2+ is self-described as “retro inspired design meets modern innovation”, meant to look like an 80’s boombox, personally, I think the design looks rather modern and not very retro or 80’s – it’s lacking all the knobs, defined edges and bare bone design of 80’s boombox so does this mean the sound quality is equivalent to a 30year old machine?
