Beanie X
The Beanie X is a rechargeable LED head torch built into a beanie, and as both a torch and a beanie, it’s fantastic. The first thing I noticed when testing the Beanie X is that the narrow beam setting is extremely bright, at 200 lumens. (Don’t look directly into it when you first turn it on!) The six settings are easy to click through: in total, there’s a narrow beam, a high, medium and low wide beam, and a flashing or steady red beam.
When you ride a bike, you must wear a helmet whether you like it or not! Even if it isn’t a law that you must, you should do it for your own sake. Safety is paramount, you simply can’t trust the people who drive those big scary metal death boxes on the road.
We received the Peak Design Travel Dufflepack 65L in the Sage design (also available in Black) which looks rather unique whilst remaining discrete about the precious and expensive equipment it embraces.
